What began with the exhibition Material Landscapes at Bureau Europa (Maastricht) grew into a series of places, moments, and materials that constantly change in meaning.

The exhibition Material Landscapes focused on the relationship between building materials, landscape, and ecological transition. After the exhibition ended, the materials used did not reach an end point, but rather a continuation. They were reused in the temporary hotel room Zwart Zaad in Veenhuizen, where the structure took on a different context, function, and meaning.

The hempcrete, along with other elements from the temporary structure, has now found a new home: in Floor's garden. Here they continue to exist, between the everyday and the experimental, waiting for their next transformation. We are curious to see where their next destination will be.
